Shipping & Handling Policy

At Calgary Vape Store, our shipping days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. We strive to process and ship all orders placed before 2:00 PM EST on the same day. For items marked as "IN STOCK," we ensure that they are dispatched within 24 to 72 hours during the business week. Any products that are back-ordered will be shipped as soon as they arrive at our warehouse.

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout, and you will receive a delivery estimate during the checkout process. For a more precise delivery date, please consult the tracking information provided once you receive your tracking number and it becomes active.

Please be aware that our shipping carriers do not operate on weekends or holidays.

Free Shipping in Canada with Orders Over C$75

We are pleased to offer free Expedited shipping on all Canadian orders exceeding C$75 (before taxes and after any applicable discounts).

However, we reserve the right to cancel orders if we determine that they are unreasonable to ship for free. This includes, but is not limited to, exceptionally heavy or oversized products. In such cases, we will offer you the option to pay for shipping.

If your order cannot be delivered successfully due to issues that we attribute to you (such as an incomplete or incorrect address or failure to collect the package), we will issue a refund after deducting the original shipping fees (even if you received free shipping), as well as the return shipping costs incurred by us. Additionally, a minimum 5% credit card transaction fee and a $10 handling fee will be applied. Alternatively, we can arrange for the order to be reshipped once you pay for both the return shipping and the cost of reshipping the order. Please note that we will not reship the order until it has been returned to us by the courier.

For those who need expedited delivery, we offer Xpresspost and Priority shipping options for an additional fee. Please note that once your parcel is shipped, we cannot refund the extra shipping costs.

Proof of Age Required

In compliance with Canadian law, we use Canada Post's Proof of Age service (18+, 19+, or 21+ depending on your province or territory) for every shipment, without exception.

This means that a signature confirming proof of age will be required upon delivery. If you are not available when the delivery attempt is made, the package will be redirected to your nearest post office. You will then need to present Proof of Age to collect and sign for your package.

Due to changes implemented during the pandemic, Canada Post no longer performs in-person ID checks at your door. Instead, you will need to retrieve your parcel from the nearest post office and complete the age verification process there.

Please note that fees associated with packages returned to us due to failed Proof of Age verification will not be refunded.

We cannot exempt any shipment from this Proof of Age requirement, even if you have previously been verified. Every package leaving our facilities will require age verification as mandated by Canadian law. Only the person named in the shipping fields is authorized to pick up the package. Canada Post will not release the package to anyone else.

Please ensure you are of legal age in your province before placing an order.

Order Processing

We handle all in-stock orders seven days a week, including Canadian holidays.

If you receive a tracking number on a weekend or during a major holiday, it means your order has been processed for shipment. However, Canada Post will not pick up the package until the next business day.

We reserve the right to take additional processing time if any issues or concerns regarding your order arise. We make every effort to contact you via phone or email if necessary, so please provide current contact information during checkout.

Typically, in-stock orders placed before 2:00 PM EST will be shipped the same day. Delivery times will depend on the carrier.

For orders where the billing name and address differ from the shipping name and address, you must provide identification matching the billing name and address upon request via email. Failure to provide the requested ID will result in the cancellation and refund of the order. Ensure that the date of birth is clearly visible on the submitted ID.

Carrier Restrictions

Please be aware that Canada Post does not operate on Saturdays, Sundays, or major Canadian holidays.

Tracking

Tracking numbers, when available, are automatically generated upon the creation of your shipping label during order processing. You will receive an email with the tracking number sent to the address you provided.

If you do not receive a tracking number, please check your email's spam or junk folders.

You can also view all tracking information directly by logging into "My Account."

Customers can track their packages via Canada Post's website. 

It may take up to one business day for your tracking number to be available for viewing.

Lost & Undelivered Packages

Claims for misplaced, stolen, or damaged parcels must be reported to us within 90 days from the date the parcels were shipped.

Calgary Vape Store is not responsible for delays, misdeliveries, or stolen packages. Once your order is scanned by Canada Post or any other delivery agents, it is under their sole care to ensure safe delivery to the recipient as specified in the shipping address. Shipping is a service provided by Canada Post in conjunction with your order from us, so any issues with shipping must be addressed directly with Canada Post.

Calgary Vape Store is also not responsible for incorrect shipping information provided by the purchaser. All packages returned to us due to incorrect addresses will be refunded after deducting a minimum 5% credit card transaction fee, a $10 handling fee, the original shipment cost (even if it was free shipping), and the return shipping fees charged by the carrier. Alternatively, the package can be reshipped once the customer pays for the return shipping fee and the cost to reship the order. We will not reship the order until it has been returned to us by the courier.
